Lion Boy

This is the first book in a trilogy.  Charlie Ashanti comes home from school one day to find his scientist parents are both missing.  Charlie knows that his parents are brilliant but can’t figure out who would kidnap them or why.  Lucky for Charlie he has a special power.  When he was just a toddler he was with his dad when a wild African cat scratched him.  Cat’s blood dripped into Charlie’s wound and he now has the power to speak cat language.  This comes in very handy as the cats assist Charlie on the hunt for his parents and as he hitches a ride, on of all things, a Circus Ship with Lions!  I can’t wait to read the next book!
