Theodore Boone: The Accused
By John Grisham
Theodore Boone, kid lawyer, gets drawn into a very famous case of Pete Duffy, accused of murdering his wife, who just has jumped bail. When he suddenly, gets distracted—he is in some big trouble himself and in need of some real lawyers. It seems that Theo is being framed for a break in to a computer store—and there is huge mounting evidence against him. Whoever is framing him is really good—but who frame an eighth grade kid? Don’t miss this third book by Grisham, as Theo, the 13 year old kid who knows more about law than many lawyers, tries to prove his innocence, and goes to pet court to get off a spitting llama. A great read—I especially like all thoughts that Theo has but holds back not saying them out loud.
